Jai Tulunad Conducts One-Day Tulu Script Workshop at “Tulunada Gobbulu” in Bantwal

Bantwal, October 4, 2026: Jai Tulunad (R.) Bantwal Unit conducted a one-day Tulu script workshop titled “Bale Tulu Lipit Pudar Bareka” as part of the “Tulunada Gobbulu” event organised by the Karnataka Rajya Kulala Kumbara Yuva Vedike Mattu Mahila Sangatanegala Okkuta (R.), Bantwal.

The workshop was held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 9:00 PM, with the objective of introducing participants to the Tulu script and encouraging greater awareness and usage of the traditional script.

The workshop was conducted by Jai Tulunad (R.) Bantwal Unit. The session was led by Tulu script trainers Pratheek Tuluve, Thrishali Kulal Navoora, and Deena K. Poojary.

As part of the programme, official certificates of attendance were issued to participants by representatives of the Jai Tulunad Bantwala Unit. The certificates were associated with Kishor Poojary Mundli, President of the Bantwala Unit; Deeraj Bantwala and Manjunath Madhwa, Executive Committee Members; and members Bhumika Anchan Bantwala and Shravya Naik.

The workshop is part of Jai Tulunad’s ongoing efforts to promote awareness of Tulu language and Tulu script through educational and community-based programmes.
