'Bale Tulu Lipit Pudar Bareka' Workshop Successfully Held at the 100th Anniversary Event of Devadiga Sangha.
MANGALURU: The "Bale Tulu Lipit Pudar Bareka" (Come, Let's Write Names in the Tulu Script) workshop was held with grand success in association with the Jai Tulunad (R.) Kudla Unit during the 100th-anniversary celebrations organized by the Karnataka State Devadiga's Sangha (R.) Mangaluru.
The event was organized on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the T.M.A. Pai International Convention Hall located on M.G. Road, Mangaluru.
Key Highlights of the Event:
Free Workshop: As part of their service to Mother Tulu, this workshop was conducted entirely free of charge with the intention of introducing the Tulu script to the general public.
Enthusiasm to Learn the Script: The basic letters of the Tulu script were written and displayed on the board for the attendees. Participants were guided and taught how to write their own names in the Tulu script.
Overwhelming Response: Even amidst the grand celebration of the Devadiga Sangha, this initiative aimed at preserving the Tulu language and script received tremendous support and a positive response from the attendees.
